Sudan – Important notes
The Sudanese visas are prepared for the guests in Port Sudan. For arranging the visas we only need the copies of the guests’ passports scanned in and sent via e-mail.
The copies of the visas will be sent to you (to forward to the guests) to be printed out and be ready in Cairo.
There must not be any stamps or visas from Israel in the passports.
The passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the entry date into the countries.
In the passports there should be one 2-page (side by side) empty space and two 1-page empty spaces for the Sudanese and Egyptian visas.
It is strongly recommended that the guests get the yellow fever vaccination and have their vaccination card with them as the Egyptian authorities may request them when returning to Egypt from Sudan.
Alcoholic beverages and pornographic materials (including images of people dressed in an acceptable way by European standards but unacceptable in Sudan) are prohibited to take into the country. Guests go through strict and thorough customs checks in Port Sudan.
The number of guests must be finalised 30 days before the start of the trip. After that cancellations are not accepted (without penalty ), only name changes are allowed.
Finalising the guest names should be done 15 days before the start of the trip. Name changes made within 15 days of the start date are subject to a surcharge of EUR50 / person. Within 10 days, the surcharge is EUR100/ person. Name changes within 3 days of the trip are not possible.
